Convenient
Speed and Incline Controls
There
are two features uniquely found on the Smooth 9.2 Series
treadmill, that allows for easy and convenient adjustments.
One is remote control speed and incline buttons located
on the side rails. This offers the stability of holding
on to the side rails while making the proper adjustment.
Another
feature, that simplifies speed adjustments, is one-touch
buttons located on the console. There is a numbered row
of buttons, each having a specific setting. The user is
able to select their desired adjustment with minimal effort
by pressing a predetermined oversized speed button.
Being
able to adjust the speed and incline on the fly can be difficult
when you are running or walking on a treadmill, especially
if you are maintaining a fast pace. Most treadmills require
pressing an increase/decrease button on the console. While
you are in motion, you have the off balanced experience
of placing and leaving your hand over the console until
you get the desired adjustment. The response can be slow
and inexact.
With
the handrail switch and one button control you'll find that
the Smooth 9.2 Series has a very efficient response
time to your commands. This is particularly important when
you are doing interval and tempo training.
For
runners/walkers who desire variety in their treadmill workout,
these features are a must and are found only on Smooth treadmills.
