After months of research we finally decided to purchase a Smooth
7.1 treadmill. It's been 9 months and we absolutely love it! We typically
have always been outdoor runners and wondered how we would adjust to running in
one place. As it turns out, we now run indoors more often then we make it out.
The shock absorbing belt has helped me continue to run and increase my speed with
less chances of injury from uncontrollable terrain change. The incline and speed
are great and the electronic fold helps give us space when needed.
The base is a bit large, but VERY sturdy for avid runners,
(unlike other folding units out there). It's the perfect basic treadmill
for runners. We probably get approximately 20 running miles a week out of our
treadmill and feel like it still runs like new. We will be happily using our treadmill
frequently to train for our next feat- our first triathlon! Thanks Smooth- your

I received our treadmill three days ago (Smooth
7.1 HR) and I am very pleased upon my first impressions. It appears
to be well built and extremely solid. It was simple to assemble and simple to
navigate around the control panel. It has a very quiet motor and comfortable sized
deck. Basically, everything it was advertised to be. My wife and I are pleased
that we chose Smooth over the cheap department store brands. I was also extremely
pleased with the shipping company that delivered it. ABF was very courteous, professional
and accommodating.

I just wanted to say thanks, I bought a Smooth 9.2 treadmill and it sat
in my room for a year then one day I decided to get in shape. I
used your treadmill everyday for 4 months and lost over 90 pounds. I
am a new person I went from 290 lbs to 195 lbs and I feel great. Your product
has been an absolute pleasure to use and have never had any problems, hard work
does pay off!

I purchased a "Smooth" Treadmill sight unseen after reading the treadmill ratings
on your web page, comparing features of the Smooth with other brands I was familiar
with, evaluating the warranty, reviewing the recommendation in "Runners World"
magazine, and discussing my needs with your sales person. I admit I was a bit
uneasy having never seen the "Smooth" brand in person but took a chance and bought
one with the understanding that I had 30 days to return it if not pleased.
I am now in my second month using my new Smooth treadmill and am very pleased
with it. In particular, I really enjoy the heart monitor, direct speed bar, duplicate
incline and speed controls on the handles, and the stability of the machine when
running on it. My wife is a runner and really enjoys running on our new "Smooth"
treadmill also. Although she tried several times, she never liked running on a
treadmill until we bought this one. I strongly feel this
is the best overall treadmill I have ever used.
I owned another brand of treadmill before buying this one and travel a great deal
where I have used many other brands in hotels across the U.S. and have not found
one I like better than my Smooth. The features, functionality
and stability are superior than any treadmill I have ever used.
I highly recommend the Smooth treadmill to anyone seeking to buy a high end unit
that is very stable and has all features and more of the more expensive well known
brands. It is truly a superior product at a bargain price
through "Treadmills by Net".

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how very pleased my wife and I
are with our 7.1 HR treadmill. From the beginning our
service rep, Eric, was very helpful and provided me with all of the information
I needed. The delivery was amazingly fast! I expected a two to three week wait.
The treadmill was here in four days. It was very easy to assemble and we started
using it right away.
I came very close to buying an inexpensive department
store unit. I am so glad I took the time to research your product. It is an incredibly
strong unit, very easy to operate and works perfectly and most of all quietly.

I know in business, we all too often hear when there are complaints, but not nearly
as often when there are praises. So...here you are:
I purchased a Smooth treadmill slightly less than one month ago ...finally. I've
been a runner and walker for over 20 years and have somehow always talked myself
out of investing in a treadmill, pushing myself instead to get out in rain, heat,
cold and darkness (although there are plenty of sunny days in between, too).
I've been pretty committed to the belief that I need my exercise simply in terms of
time "for myself" (mother of three, ages 10/8/5). However, in the past
2 years or so, I've found it increasingly difficult to get myself out at 6am,
which is truly the only time that works consistently for me. Thus, my big decision
to finally make life a little easier and buy a treadmill. I've only missed 3 days
in almost a month, I've been in a great mood (ask my family!) because I don't
have to miss it due to weather (it's never too rainy or cold) or time of day (it's
too dark) or schedule (my son can play/read/draw next to me while I'm on it).
More importantly, it's a great product! I've worked in and been a member of many fitness centers over
the years and I knew I would be very particular about the treadmill I finally
purchased and it has lived up to every expectation. Easy to use, quiet,
great variability, wide running belt (I love how far apart the handrails are ...I
never feel like my arms might brush up against them as with some models). But
the true test was yesterday ...would my treadmill runs keep me in shape to do the
courses outdoors when I chose to do so? Yes! I took my 6 month old golden retriever
out yesterday (we had a heat wave in CT, it got to 32 degrees and sunny) and we
powered up the hills as if I had been running every day outside!
Thank you, thank you, thank you (from bottom of my healthy heart and my less stressed
head, knowing I'm not missing my workouts this Winter)! Also, Sadie-Bess was very
nice and informative to work with as a side note.

Before buying a treadmill, I read about all the other machines available and whether
or not I would use the equipment on a regular basis. Consumer guide did help in
the decision to go with a treadmill. The article stated that although other machines
may be good for their intended purpose, the treadmill was the best all around
aerobic/cardiovascular type of equipment (due to the fact that it was weight bearing
was important.)
My
son had tried to talk me into something else. So......my NEW SMOOTH 5.5 [now the
Smooth 7.1 HR] arrived last week and he put
it together for me (matter of 3 minutes I think) and it was ready to go. I could
not use it for the first two nights due to other more pressing duties and I was
working on a school paper when I heard the foot action downstairs and there he
was on the treadmill. He said, "It sure does the job"
and now he has incorporated it into his daily workout routine. He has a home gym
also.
I started using the Smooth two nights ago and I am not used to such a quiet motor.
The name is so like the machine. Then I tried the five different programs at various
speeds and hooked up the heart monitor. I could read my heart rate, distance,
calories burned and time every few seconds. That made me stay on longer as I saw
what I was accomplishing. I do not have to look for cars, run in inclement weather,
twist my ankles on holes or stones in the road, nor pay a fee just to wait in
line for a certain limit on a treadmill at a club. Can you tell I am thrilled?

Hi,
ordered our treadmill (Smooth 7.1 HR) on Saturday,
April 4th and it arrived on Tuesday, April 6th; amazing! (Note:
This is not typical. Please allow up to a couple of weeks for delivery).
It is now up and running and I love it! It’s very quiet, even more quiet
than I expected, and seems to be very sturdy and so far easy to operate, haven’t
entered my personal data as yet nor tried programs other than the Quick Start,
hope to do so this afternoon.
We looked at other brands and came across yours after extensive research on the Internet.
Your web site, warranty and the articles we read swayed us to purchase your product
and now since dealing with your order/customer support folks and your quick delivery
I am still so impressed with your company and product!
We’ll definitely sing your praises, please don’t change your process
(unless you’re sure of an improvement), it’s been so refreshing to deal
with a company that appears to have a great package! (Very much like dealing with
Nordstrom’s!) I don’t believe I’ve ever used so many exclamation
points in writing a company.

I purchased the SMOOTH treadmill in February and have been using it 5 days per week since
I got it. I am training for my first marathon and bought
this treadmill because of the great reviews it received. I am very
pleased with the treadmill. I run 6-8 miles each day on it and have found it to
be very stable, quiet, and smooth! It is easy to program and I have not had any
problems with it. I would recommend this treadmill to a serious runner and a beginner
alike.

I received my Smooth 5.0P treadmill last Friday, having placed the order only on
the previous Monday. I am very impressed and pleased with the quality of this
product. It is very stable and functions exactly as advertised. All
of your claims in your web-site are true. I spent a lot of time in
researching treadmills before making a purchase and during my search I kept going
back to the Smooth treadmills. Now that I am using one, I
am convinced that your treadmills are the best that can be had for the money spent.

I purchased a Smooth Treadmill in mid February, and would like to express my complete
satisfaction with its performance. I am running four eight minute miles per day
at a 3 degree incline. There is no belt slippage rattles or squeaks. The console
and controls are simple to read and use. I couldn't be

We purchased a Smooth 5.5 HR [now the 7.1 HR] from Treadmillbynet
as a birthday present for my wife. The treadmillbynet web page was very helpful
in our decision making process. I believe in doing a lot of research when making
this type of purchase and shopped both the internet and traditional stores. The
5.5 on paper was the best value for our money. The treadmillbynet folks were very
helpful and informative over the phone. The machine arrive at my home a week early.
The treadmillbynet folks even helped with the one hitch that we had which was
delivery related. And, it was a snap to put together!
My wife loves the machine. My 16-year-old son does too. It is stable and quiet. It

Just wanted to make a comment. Since receiving my Smooth 5.0P in late March,
I have lost nearly 25 pounds combining good eating habits and working
out on this machine. I have got my diabetes under control. Your machine had a lot

I bought the SMOOTH treadmill for myself. I have always wanted a good treadmill to add to my
growing list of fitness equipment. I use the treadmill to continue training through
the winter months and when I need to be at home to watch the little kids. The
big benefit that I totally did not expect came from my better half, my wife. She
is now using the treadmill more than I am, and I have been a runner for more than
20 years. She never ever used a single piece of fitness equipment before, but
she loves to walk on the SMOOTH. She is even running at over 6.5 MPH for 30 minutes
a day! I believe that one day, we will both run a 10K together because of the
SMOOTH.

We're extremely happy with the Smooth treadmill! My wife and I use it daily--she walks
2-3 miles 3 or 4 times a week while I run 5-6 miles 3-4 times a week. I
am especially satisfied with the stability of the treadmill. I am large
for a runner (over 200 lbs) and it's stability has prevented the jarring on my
knees, hips and back that have accompanied my treadmill running in the past.
